This type of conflict takes place between characters.

The narrator is not a character in the story, and uses the names of the characters and words like he, she, they etc.

This type of character has a well-developed personality. They seem like a real person, and we know many of their character traits.

This type of conflict takes place between a character and a larger force that impacts many people (war, poverty, bullying, divorce, etc.)
