  • Make “keep” and “get rid” of piles
  • Think about why it is important to keep certain items and what you will do with that item in the future. If there is no need for an item in the future, it is time to get rid of it!
  • For items that aren’t important to keep but are hard to part ways with, take a picture to remember it!
  • Remind yourself that it’s hard to get rid of things that we have memories with and that it’s ok to feel upset and angry but that those negative feelings will pass.
