1. If they had no photo id they can fill out the blue provisional envelope and they insert their ballot into it. If they bring ID back to the polling place with the blue tab from the envelope they may open the envelope and insert their ballot into the FVS.
2. They feel they are registered and are not showing up in the poll pad they may use this voting method only after speaking to the County Clerk's Office.
After a picture is taken and sent to the County Clerk for verification a bi partasin team can acturally insert the ballot into the machine if the clerk's office gives them permission. If not it is stored in the emergency bin of the ballot box. At the end of the day it is removed and brought to the courthouse in the blue bag, then handed to the clerk.
If a voter request curbside voting what is the procedure?
A bi partisan team will take the poll pad and ballot placed in a folder to the car and check ID and sign the poll pad. The proper ballot is given to the voter to vote.
The voter will fill out their ballot and inset in the provided folder, for the bi partisan team to take and put in the FVS machine and not look at how the voter voted.
When should the security bin be emptied?
After the close card has been entered into the FVS machine to close it out.
