Art techniques refer to the various methods and skills used by artists to create and express their ideas through visual mediums and materials. Basically, it's the way the art is created. I.E: painting (blending techniques, applying color, brushstrokes), drawing (shading, hatching, sketching),collage (adding different materials together); sculpture, etc..
