What is Exposition?

The exciting or turning point of a story.
What is climax?
This type of POV can be limited or omniscient

When a character battles a problem; deals with loneliness, makes a decision.
What is an internal conflict?
The atmosphere or emotions often created through the setting. "A dark and stormy night."
What is the mood?
The inciting incidents - conflicts that lead to climax.
What is rising action?
Narrator uses: I, my, me, we.
What is first person pov?
A character who exhibits numerous traits- like a real person.
What is a round character?
A conflict between the Protagonist and Antagonist.
What is Man v Man?
The author's attitude towards the audience, subject or charter.
What is tone?
The main conflict is usually resolved and the loose ends of the story are tied up.
What is falling action?
Narrator knows mind & feelings of all characters.
What is omniscient POV?
Character who opposes; causes conflict for Protagonist.
What is Antagonist?
Man v Self is a _________ conflict

An author uses the five senses: sight, smell, taste, feel & sound to create this.
What is the story setting?
Closure, conclusion, denouement.

Minor characters easily recognized: the wicked witch, the hero, the sidekick

A force like a snowstorm, that causes a problem for the main character.
