The most exciting or intense part of a story. (Usually where you're hanging on the edge of your seat, waiting to find out what happens next.)
What is climax?
A struggle between the main character and an opposing force.
What is conflict?
The leading/main character in a story.
Who is the protagonist?
Where a story takes place. (Ex: Germany 1945)
What is setting?
Scrooge is visited by Marley. Scrooge is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past. Scrooge is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Present. Scrooge sees the Cratchit family.

The part of the story that has specific plot points that build up to the climax.

Scrooge is old, grumpy, mean, greedy with his money, not compassionate, and hates Christmas.

Language that explains what something smells, tastes, feels, looks, or sounds like, using several adjectives.
What is descriptive language?
