Flight 19 went on a routine training regimen, and disappeared on December 5th 1945. They were extremely confused because their compasses were pointing all different directions. They kept arguing and wondering which way to go, until they decided to go one way, and flew until they ran out of gas. 5 planes and 14 people were lost due to magnetic disruptions in their compasses. Another rescue team which had 13 rescue crews were lost looking for them. Their last words were “It looks like we’re entering white water. We’re completely lost.

The Ellen Austin found an abandoned ghost ship on their route from London to NY, in February 1881. Half of the crew went onto the ghost ship, to steer it back to shore, but the Ellen Austin and the ghost ship got separated in a storm. The ghost ship was found again, undamaged but with no crew… The captain of the Ellen Austin hired a company to steer the ship back to shore, but they met the same fate and the shi was lost, supposedly… Years later, the Captain of the Ellen Austin saw the same ship, sailing away crew less. In the end it claimed 21 lives.
