What is email?

The company that hosts your email account
What is an Email provider?
A window that opens and asks questions, and forces you to choose an answer
What is a dialogue box?
Symbols or pictures that you can click on to perform an action. Each computer program has one.
What is an icon?
A software program for making slideshow presentations.
What is Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides?

What is an email address?
The collection of data that is available online.
What is a file?
Organizes information into rows and columns and often uses math and numbers
What is a spreadsheet?
The topic of an email. It should be short and concise.
What is the subject?
File sent as part of email; can be document, spreadsheet, pictures, music, etc.
What is an attachment?
An icon representing one of a set of options, only one of which can be selected at a time.
What is a radio button?
The bottom bar that shows which programs are open; you can place the mouse over the icons to see multiple windows that are open.
What is a taskbar?
Typing documents on a computer. Allows you to format, save, and edit your writing.
What is word processing?
Junk mail that gets automatically filtered to a folder. Be sure to check this as the filter is not always perfect.

Another word for programs, instructions in the computer that help it complete different tasks.

The line or arrow that you control by moving the mouse.
What is a cursor?
A computer program that manages hardware devices, communicates between hardware and applications, and manages files stored on the computer.
What is an operating system?
Font sizes, bold, italics, underlines that can be used to change the appearance of a message.
What is formatting?
