We feel this when we evaluate environmental demand as beyond our ability to cope successfully. This includes elements of unpredictability, uncontrollability and feeling overloaded.
What is stressed?
This is not an emotion but it drives feelings; trying to stand out while also fitting in.
What is comparison?
This is a feeling of pleasure often related to the immediate environment or current circumstance.
What is happiness?
This arises out of negative life events and negative thought patterns, particularly self-blame and the perceived inability to change our circumstances.
What is hopelessness?
Arises when we feel an aversion toward something offensive.
What is disgust?
This means an extreme level of stress, an emotional and/or cognitive intensity to the point of feeling unable to function.
What is overwhelmed?
When we want something another person has.
What is Envy?
Creating perspective and mindfulness while managing emotional reactivity.
This is an unbearable and traumatic swirl of shock, incredulity, grief and powerlessness.
The psychological process of demonizing the enemy, making them seen less than human and hence not of humane treatment.
What is dehumanization?
An emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts and physical changes like increased blood pressure.
What is anxiety?
A deeper form of admiration or respect and is often combined with a sense of meaningful connection with something greater than ourselves.
What is reverence?
An intense feeling of deep spiritual connection, pleasure and appreciation.
What is joy?
An involuntary yearning for wholeness, for understanding, for meaning, for the opportunity to even simply touch what we've lost.

This is the emotion that we experience during times of uncertainty, risk and emotional exposure.
What is vulnerability?
When we fear losing a relationship or a valued part of a relationship we already have.
What is jealousy?
This is a reflection of our appreciation for what we value, what brings meaning to our lives and what makes us feel connected to ourselves and others.
What is gratitude?
A less studied form of this. It is not openly acknowledged or publicly supported through morning practices or rituals because the experience is not valued or counted as a loss.
Examples: Loss of partner or parent due to divorce, infertility, loss of loved on to suicide, loss of years of life connection due to imprisonment.
This a combination of various negative emotions including repulsion, disgust, fear and contempt.
