Why was the tabernacle significant? How is it similar to and different from our temples? What is the purpose of the altar/sacrifices?
So that God can be near us, dwell with us, and make us a kingdom of priests. Altars are for us to show our willingness to sacrifice the animal in us to the God we love more.
