“Hey, Millie, let’s get a bag of Skittles as a snack,” Sarah said.
“Okay,” I agreed.
When we got to Sarah’s house we decided it would be more fun if we made up a game to play while we ate the Skittles. Before pulling a Skittle out of the bag, Sarah had me guess what color the next one would be.
“Green!” I said.
Sarah pulled out a red Skittle and then threw it at me! “Hey!” I shouted. “What’d you do that for?”
“You got it wrong, so instead of just getting to eat the Skittle you have to try to catch it in your mouth.”
“Oh, I get it! Okay, your turn,” I said.
“I guess orange,” said Millie.
I pulled out an orange Skittle and nicely handed it to Millie so she could enjoy it. The next time I got one wrong, I was ready to try to catch it in my mouth when she threw it at me. By the end of the game, we were both rolling in laughter. I can’t wait until the next time we buy a bag of Skittles!
