Dream-Time-Stories: Tell the story of Tiddalik the frog. Make sure to be a good storyteller :)

Once upon a time, a long time ago in the Dreamtime there was a greedy frog called Tiddalik. He was the biggest frog ever known.

On a very hot day he awoke in the morning with a huge thirst. So he began to drink and drink and drink until there was no fresh water left in the Australian world. When all the other animals came to drink water from the billabong there was no water at all. Soon creatures everywhere were dying and the trees were wilting because of the heat.

All animals pondered their terrible situation until a wise wombat suggested that if Tiddalik could be made to laugh then maybe all the water would flow out of his mouth. This was a good idea and the animals agreed.

So all animals gathered by Tiddalik`s resting place and tried to make him laugh, but it was in vain. The wombat started dancing, but Tiddalik didn`t laugh, the Kookaburra told his funniest story, but the frog didn`t laugh. The kangaroo jumped over the emu, but Tiddalik didn`t laugh....
