People (especially those under 21) are hesitant to call UCPD in instances like this because they do not want themselves or their friends to get in trouble. However, your friend's safety and wellbeing could mean the difference between life and death in some instances. UC has an amnesty policy to encourage students to seek help for other students in need of immediate medical attention. Students who qualify under the policy may not receive conduct code violations!!
