The name of the barrier or "life" between death and the Day of Judgment.
Barzakh
Standing upright after ruku', before going into sujud, is its own obligatory pillar. This is the name of that standing.
I'tidal or Qawma (the standing after ruku')
In ruku' you say "Subhana Rabbiyal Adheem." "Adheem" describes Allah as this.
The Most Great / The Magnificent
The Prophet (PBUH) compared a good friend to this profession, where you benefit just by being near them.
The perfume seller
This Arabic word means self-accountability — holding yourself to account.
Muhasabah
The two angels who question a person in the grave.
Munkar and Nakir
In a 4-rak'ah prayer, you sit for the first tashahhud after this rak'ah — and if you forget and stand, you make these prostrations at the end to make up for the mistake.
After the 2nd rak'ah; Sujud as-Sahw (the prostrations of forgetfulness)
In sujud you say "Subhana Rabbiyal A'la." "A'la" describes Allah as this
The Most High
At minimum, this is what happens when you sit with the "blacksmith" (bad company).
You walk away smelling like smoke
The profession of the vast majority of prophets, which gave them time alone to think.
Shepherds
The three questions asked in the grave.
Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your prophet?
These are the seven body parts that must touch the ground in sujud.
The forehead (with the nose), the two hands, the two knees, and the two feet (toes)
"Sami' Allahu liman hamidah," said when rising from ruku', means this.
Allah hears the one who praises Him"
The Prophet (PBUH) said a person is upon the religion of this — so look carefully at who it is.
Their close friend
The Prophet (PBUH) said the truly bankrupt person is one who did many good deeds but lost them all because of this.
Because they wronged people (cursing, backbiting, mistreating others)
What righteous deeds become for you in the grave.
They comfort/protect you — good deeds keep you company
Reciting Surah Al-Fatiha is a pillar in every rak'ah. According to the famous hadith, a prayer without it is this.
Invalid / "There is no prayer for the one who does not recite Al-Fatiha"
"Subhan" — repeated in ruku' and sujud — means this about Allah.
Glory be to Allah / declaring Allah free of every imperfection
In Surah Al-Kahf, the young men fled to this — and it represents your protective circle (masjid, good friends, institutions).
The cave
Even though he was a prophet, Allah sent Musa (AS) to learn from this man — proving even the best need a mentor.
Khidr
In Surah Al-Asr, the default state of all humanity — except those with faith, good deeds, and who counsel each other to truth and patience.
Loss (khusr)
The difference between a "rukn" (pillar) and a "wajib" (necessary act) of salah is this — and it determines whether you must repeat the prayer or can fix it with sujud as-sahw.
A pillar (rukn) cannot be made up — if you miss it the prayer is invalid; a wajib that's missed can be corrected with sujud as-sahw
In the tashahhud we send blessings on the Prophet (PBUH) and the family of Ibrahim (AS). This is the name of that du'a. (And recite it)

Your relationship with Allah (tazkiyah)
