The pole vaulter gets their kinetic energy from chemical energy (food). As they push off the ground, the kinetic is converted to elastic energy as the pole bends. How is Einstein's theory of special relativity related to energy and mass conversion?

It says E=MC2, meaning that the total energy in an object is the mass times the speed of light squared. It helps show how energy isn't destroyed in Nuclear reactions and how they work. There is more energy than you think that comes from a nucleus being split open.
