What are the basic formatting requirements of all assignments?

When addressing a person in an email for the first time, "stalk" them to find out if you should address them in these ways. There are four that are standard.

Similar to religious garb, this is a visual cue (to a reader) that you know the rules and can be trusted.
Why is formatting even important?
These are the four goals of a Learning Community.
A. Develop strategies for how to learn at a college level.
B. Learn the value of being a contributing community member.
C. Develop the ability to self-reflect and grow beyond your current perspective, in particular grow beyond any limitations that come from your past cultural assumptions and biases.
D. Develop tools that will help you focus and guide your curiosity in a more sophisticated way.
