The PURPOSE: to educate people on the environmental impacts of AI and the data centers required to run them.
The STANCE: AI tools should be used carefully to try and mitigate the environmental impact it has.
What is the difference between EXIGENCE and PURPOSE?
Exigence is the reason that lead to the creation of a text, i.e., Governor Newsom responding to gerrymandering efforts in Texas
Purpose is the goal of the author, i.e., Governor Newsom wanted to highlight the ridiculousness of President Trump's social media posts, as well as the ridiculousness of the gerrymandering efforts.
