What is “Cyber-psychopathy: What Goes On in a Hacker’s Head” is an article that touches on the mental state and thoughts of a hacker as well as what social and technological change alters or feeds their urge to hack. The author, Steve Gold, claims that hacking is a deep-seated psychological illness. In the article, the author classifies hackers into three different types, which consist of the following, white hat, black hat, and grey hat.
