Raise your hand quietly until you are called on.

Go to assigned seat, read Smartboard, and get out materials you need.

By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.

Put assignments in rack on white board or give them to Mr. Payne.
How do you ask for help in class?
You can ask a neighbor what you should be doing. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
When should you be to your next class?
Before or when the bell rings.
What is one thing you can do to help a peer be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things or helping them with questions/assignments.
How do you know what you should be working on in class during independent work time or partner work?
Directions are always on the Smartboard and projected
When/how do you go to the bathroom?
Not during a whole group lesson. Send Mr. Payne a smartpass.

Listen to others. Keep voice to the level it should be based on class activity. Be helpful. Be respectful. Be responsible. Come prepared. Help others.
What do I do if I do not have a pencil AND how/when do I sharpen my pencil if I do have one?
Silently walk over to the back whiteboard by the door to sign out a pencil. Not during whole group lesson- go to front of the classroom on top of file cabinet to sharpen.

No hoods, no cellphones out, keep hands to yourself, be responsible and respectful

Line up in the classroom.

Put away your things, check your desk/underneath your desk, put away notebook, put away class assignment that you are working on, clean up trash, sit and wait until bell or Mr. Payne dismisses you

walk quietly down to the cafeteria, wait to get food until called, clean up after yourself, help sweep floor, not scream/shout, hands to yourself, etc.
Why is it important to have a cooperative, productive, respectful work environment in the classroom?
To learn best, so everyone feels safe, so everyone can focus, etc.
