The way an author reveals or develops a character in a story to make them seem more real to the reader.
What is characterization?
When the reader/viewer knows something that the character does not.
What is dramatic irony?
The narrator is speaking directly to the reader, using the words "you" and "your."
What is second person point of view?
You go shopping. You have $20. You really want to buy a shirt, but you're hungry and want to buy food. You don't know what to spend your money on. This is a type of conflict.

A character that does not change throughout the story and carries the same one or two qualities/traits from beginning to end.

In a horror movie, the reader knows the killer is upstairs, and the character is on their way up with a flashlght to look around. This displays one type of irony.
