A metaphor is a form of figurative speech that compares something without using like or as. EX: She was the wind when she ran.

An indirect object complement is a noun that is not directly receiving the action of the verb but is still influenced by it. In simpler terms, it’s like someone who benefits or is impacted by what is happening, even though the action isn’t directed at them specifically.

Correlative conjunctions are words that connect two equal parts of a sentence to show how they relate to each other. They always work together and come in pairs. EX: not only and but, either and or.
