Write a one-chunk about the following question?
How does the doctor react to seeing Lady Macbeth sleep walking?
When the doctor sees Lady Macbeth sleepwalking with the gentlewoman who takes care of her, he is shocked by what he hears and starts to become suspicious of her. In Act 5 Scene 1, the doctor says,
"Foul whisp'rings are abroad. Unnatural deeds
Do breed unnatural troubles. Infected minds
To their deaf pillows will discharge their secrets.
More needs she the divine than the physician.
God, God forgive us all! Look after her,
Remove from her the means of all annoyance,
And still keep eyes upon her. So, good night.
My mind she has mated, and amazed my sight.
I think, but dare not speak."
This quote means that the doctor is stunned to hear what Lady Macbeth is saying and starts to wonder if what she is saying is confessing to a deed she has committed. Also, when the doctor says she needs a priest more than a doctor is might mean that he is staring to understand that she sleeps walks because she feels guilty. After hearing what Lady Macbeth has said the doctor is bewildered and begins to question why she sleepwalks.
