What is Choice Plus Academy?
The allowable number of months prior to the service start date for service approval
What is one month?
The timeframe within which Returns Specialists should contact withdrawing families once the school is notified of their withdrawal
What is one week?
The team HSTs should notify when a student’s address changes, so the address can be updated in the Hub
What is the SIS or Compliance Team?
Families' first point of contact, the person families should contact for support
Who is an HST?
The names of the main three SoCal Collaborative programs that serve elementary-age students
What are Explorers on Course, Mission 2 Learn, and Spark Learning?
Information that should always be included in orders for tutoring or music lessons
What is the type of tutoring or the type of music lessons?
The online system that now houses the withdrawal survey and withdrawing students' information
What is Homeschool Hub?
The team that handles all requests for student computers and tablets
What is the Tech Team?
A word that describes educational materials not related to a specific religious sect or political group
What is non-sectarian?
This curriculum is used by all three schools for their in-house elementary science and/or social studies classes
What is Savvas curriculum?
A document that must be signed by parents/guardians in the Hub before service orders can be requested
What is an online service waiver?
The three types of items the Returns Team collects back from families
What are Enrichment, Library, and Tech items?
The team responsible for student planning amounts and post-order issues
What is the Student Accounts Team?
A budgeted amount set aside to purchase educational materials/services for students, often incorrectly referred to as "your funds"
