(1) Consult with your Professor regarding your intentions to withdraw (2) Speak to your academic advisor and Financial Aid Counselor before withdrawing (3) Complete with the withdrawal form with your professor (he/she will have it) – signatures will be required **your professor will submit the form to the Registrar**

Dropped courses during the add/drop period will not appear on your academic transcript. A withdrawal (W) will appear on your transcript and can impact your GPA if a failing grade (WF) is assigned.
What is the difference between "add/drop" and "withdrawal"?

1. Know your registration date & time. 2. On your own or with a Peer Advisor, review your semester map and Academic Advisement Report (AAR) to determine required courses. 3. Check your academic department advisor schedule for availability and schedule an appt. (if necessary) to review course selection. Your advisor will release your registration hold. 4. Check your account for additional holds to ensure that you are clear to register. 5.On your designated registration day, log into your student portal and register using “Schedule Planner.”
