A desert habitat is very arid, few plants grow there, not many animals live there. It is very hot. The ground has little grass and mostly sand and rocks. One plant that grows in the desert is the saguaro cactus and one animal that lives there is a tortoise. (Animals and plants will vary).

A rain forest is a habitat with a lot of plants and animals. It is the most populated of all habitats. A rain forest is very hot with a lot of rainfall everyday. Some plants that live in a rain forest are a kapok tree, orchids, cacao plants etc. Some animals that live in a rain forest are snakes, butterflies, lizards, toucans, jaguars, sloths etc.
