List three differences about education/training between Sparta and Athens?? (Not including how women were trained.)
Spartan boys left home at the age of 7, lived in barracks, ate with soldiers in the mess hall for the rest of their lives, endured harsh conditions such as sleeping on the floor and only having one pair of clothes, and threw away babies who were deemed "insufficient."
Athenian boys lived at home, learned many subjects, joined the military reserve force after two years of training, and only the wealthy received an education.
