We do NOT leave the classroom when the bell rings. We wait to be dismissed by Mrs. Perez and the room must be clean and silent before we go.

You will be working in small group or on the computer. There is no talking necessary to do those things!

Homework is worth 5% your grade. Some fifth graders last year failed the class from not turning in homework. It will drop your average 3-4 points every quarter if it does not get turned in. We will talk about this more when I get back.

If you get lunch detention, you will sit in Mrs. Perez's classroom and copy out of dictionary, and not get to go to recess. Mrs. Perez will also call parents and give DPS if necessary.

For good behavior, you can receive PRS or pick out a small item like pencils or other treats. Mrs. Perez also gives out lots of candy, and will hold weekly drawings for chips, drinks, etc.
