what is the difference between using a credit card and debit card?
debit card: linked directly to your checking account online and withdrawals money from your checking account. Can't go into debt, but can hit "0".-------credit card: acts as a loan that you have to pay back. You are given a "maximum" for your credit card that you cannot exceed. Generally have to pay back in a months time. (ex. go to the store buy something for $50-you have to pay back that $50 in a certain amount of time)

What is a credit score/what is it used for? how do you keep a good credit score?
Credit score is a number that helps lenders and others predict how likely you are to repay a loan. -----Keep a good credit score: 1) pay your monthly balance on time. 2) pay the full amount. 3) do your best not to exceed 15-20% of limit. (ex. if there is a limit of $2,000, pay credit card off before exceeding $400)

Simple: set amount of interest on original amount. ex. have 1000 with 10% simple interest. That means each payment you get $100. $1000, $1100, $1200, etc.-----compound interest: "interest off interest"- the interest builds off each other. 10% simple interest: $1000, $1100, $1210, $1331
