What are two alternatives to Analytical Chemistry.
Any advanced chemistry courses 3000 level or higher counts. But you need to submit a petition to Cynthia Smith. Biochemistry (BCH3025), Physical Chemistry 2, and Inorganic Chemistry are common substitutes.

Briefly explain the process of applying for or cancelling a minor.
Fill out the Application to Add or Cancel a Minor, find and mark your minor on the list, and retrieve signatures from the Dean of your college and then the dean of the college offering the minor. Sign it yourself and submit it to Criser Hall.

If I passed AP Biology, do I still have to take Biology for Engineers or Biology 1 and 2.
If you receive a 5 on the AP exam, you will receive credits for Biology 1 and 2 and there is no need to complete Biology for Engineers. If you receive a 4 on the AP exam, you will only get credit for Biology 1, so you still need to take Biology 2 or Biology for Engineers to fulfill the requirement.

What’s the minimum grade I can get in the 4000 level courses?
D- is a passing grade for any Chemical Engineering course past the Junior Trio (Thermodynamics, Heat and Energy Transfer Operations, and Fluid Mechanics). If you receive a D, you may still retake the class. You must receive a C or better to pass Organic Chemistry 1, however you may receive a D or better to pass Organic Chemistry 2. You may also pass Physical Chemistry with a D-.

What critical tracking courses do I need to take BEFORE my first chemical engineering classes. Also, do I have to take them ALL before?
You will need to have completed Physics 1, Calculus 1&2, and General Chemistry 1&2. You MUST enroll in the first Chemical Engineering course, Materials and Energy Balance, concurrently with Physics 2 and Calculus 3. Note: that next semester you must enroll in Differential Equation concurrently with Transport Phenomena

If I leave the University of Florida on a co-op for more than one semester, am I able to simply come back and sign up for classes? Why or Why not?
If you are not registered for credits at the University of Florida for two consecutive semesters you must reapply to the University of Florida and get re-accepted into the College of Chemical Engineering.
