They follow seasonal patterns of animals and growing things - for instance, fishing, in a limited amount, only during certain seasons and cutting the trees / gathering the plants in a way that next year there will be just as many. Through their careful management of the land in their generational wisdom, they were truly one with the natural world and they strive great together.
