What is the belief that it is an “unnatural practice?”
Note: this is interesting because Europeans generally live closer to farms and face a higher risk of run-off issues, but are still focused on how it’s “unnatural.”

If there is a common belief that growing GMOs is an unnatural practice, why do you suppose that farms continually grow these crops?
Growing GMO crops is not only cheaper, but it can occur in areas where normal farming cannot occur. For example, soil salinity has become a major problem, however inserting the genes of salt tolerant plants into GMOs can allow for growing in salty soil areas.
