What is David Martinez?
This gray-colored bar at the top displays your environment, department you're logged into, your name, and In Basket messages.
What is Title Bar?
In this tab, you can review the patient's previous Encounters, Labs, Medications, Imaging, Referrals, etc. (This tab is strictly for reviewing)
What is Chart Review?
To move the Notes Side bar to the middle pane or make it a separate window you can click either of these two options.
What is Move to Left Pane? What is Move to Floating Window?
The name of this EPIC environment is known as the live Environment where you do your daily job.
What is Hyperspace Client?
This is the icon/symbol for the Schedule workspace tab. (If you get lost, you can always click this icon to get you back to where you started)
What is the Calendar?
This red-colored bar displays the EPIC button, shortcut activity buttons, is customizable, and has log out button.
What is the EPIC Toolbar or Hyperspace Toolbar?
In this tab, you can Review and Document. You would also use this tab to back chart documentation.
What is Flowsheets?
This SmartTool allows you to select a single choice from a Yellow List, or select multiple options from a Blue List.
What is SmartList?
When you click this icon/symbol, it will allow you to view a list of limited selections for you to choose from. (Used when documenting)
What is the magnifying glass?
The name of the Hyperspace environment we logged into for training.
What is Hyperspace Sandbox?
Clicking this button allows you to save your session and when you log back in, it picks up where you left off.
What is Secure?
The ________ consists of Problems, Goals, and Tasks. This is individualized for the patient's needs.
What is Treatment Plan?
This SmartTool allows you to populate a template.
What is SmartText?
This icon/symbol will let you know something is required and you cannot proceed without filling the requirement. (Bonus points if you can tell me the symbol that lets you know something is recommended, but optional).
What is the Red Stop Sign?

Instead of logging out to change departments, you can click this button.
What is "Change context"?
Clicking this icon/symbol allows you to modify toolbars, tabs, and more throughout EPIC.
What is the wrench icon?
This column tells a summary about the patient and is always found on the left-side when you're in the patient's chart.
What is the Patient Storyboard?
These shortcut prompts allow you to populate documentation into the note. You may even customize your own.
What is Smartphrase?
You can find incomplete encounters, open charts, and received messages in this workspace.
What is the In Basket?

What is Workspace Tabs?
These can be considered like folders for a patient's needs. Clinical staff can link back to these for a patient's future visits.
What is Episodes of Care?
This SmartTool allows you to retrieve previously documented patient data into the note. For example, previously documented vitals, Assessments, etc.
