When answering true/false question on a test, what are 2 test-smart strategies for improving your odds if unsure?
If any part is false, answer is false
Unconditional words (Always, never, etc.) = probably false
Conditional words (sometimes, usually, etc.) = probably true
If statement has 2 negatives, cross out to see if T or F (It is uncommon for successful students not to believe in their ability)
Words never heard of, guess False
Pure guess? Guess true. It's easier for teacher to come up with a true statement than a false one.
