Goals and Using Creativity to Fuel Them
What are some of your goals and how could creativity fuel them?

I want to own a real estate investment company. I plan on using my creative skills to buy worn down homes, redesign the interior and exterior then sell them for more profit. Once I begin to make enough profit from this I will create a system to invest in real estate and begin moving away from the flipping side of real estate.
What makes a creative person? What prevents us?

One thing that makes a creative person would be the trait of passion. A person who is creative loves what they do/ what they are working on. A creative person loves challenges and forces themself out of their own comfort zone.
A way that this could be prevented would be by an individual not being open to exploration of their comfort zone. If a person is unwilling to be uncomfortable, it is nearly impossible for them to be creative.
What are examples of creativity (consider a wide range)?

An example of wide range creativity would be creating a solution to the clean water shortage in third world African and Asian countries. This would not aid a single person but thousands if not millions of people, who could in turn use their own creativity to help others.
What do you imagine when you think of your future self?

There are many ranges of which I think of my future self in. I will begin with my self in 1-4 years from now. I see myself being extremely good at time management. I see myself easily indulging in every single one of my classes, no matter how easy or hard. I believe that in this time frame I will go from disliking hard classes, to seeing them as a fun challenge that I plan to excel in.
What are some of your goals and how could creativity fuel them?

I plan on working for a financial advisory company in which I can use my creativity to communicate with my family friends to either earn internships or a first job. I will do my best to master my VUCA skills in order to be the best candidate for any company that I apply to work for.
What makes a creative person? What prevents us?

Communication is a large part of making a person creative. Most creative efforts are not done by a single person, but instead a team. When working in a team, communication is key. In order to self express one must master the art of communication.
One way to prevent communication is to be selfish. When a person is selfish and does not communicate, the art of creativity lacks to prosper.

Shigetaka Kurita made a huge creative communication innovation for the masses when he designed the first emoji. Because of him people are able to use a lot more expression when communicating within text messages.
What do you imagine when you think of your future self?

In 5-10 years I see myself starting a career in my first company. I will most likely have a day job at a financial advising company and use my creativity on the side to buy and flip real estate. I will not only have a finger on flipping real estate, but also investing in rental properties as well. I will most likely have a significant other by this point and will be beginning to plan our lives together.

Creativity would be a major fuel in my goal to move to Arizona after college. I will be moving to a totally new environment than I have lived in my entire life> i will have to be creative and extremely adaptive in order to thrive in a place that is totally different from my norm.

A trait that I have that I feel makes a creative person is determination. Nearly nothing happens/works the first time you try. For example, it took the 409 cleaning company, 409 tries to perfect their new cleaning solution. Creativity and innovation are not easy, you must be determined.
A way to prevent creativity through determination is to believe that innovation and creation are simple and do not take much effort. Add on the willingness to quit and you get a person who is prevented from creativity.

Another example of wide range creativity would be when a large company creates a new layout for their work space in order to help the office workers to communicate/ work together more. This would benefit the people who is the service from the company since the work output would be much better.
What do you imagine when you think of your future self?

In 15+ years I see myself owning my own financial advising and real estate development businesses. I will be a strong family man and help my family learn to be and keep their creativity as well as their morals throughout their entire lives. I will tithe with my income and will donate a large portion of my income every year to help people in need.
