The should be sitting on the first row only.
On the first table right next to the snacks and milks/juices.
What is the policy about backpacks and purses?
Staff are only allowed to carry a backpack if there are no personal items in there. Everything in the backpack needs to be for work.
Are hats allowed in the building.
Only on freebie dress code days. Or if the hat goes with the theme for the day.
True or False: Supplies should be requested on your lesson plan packet.
False. You should fill out the separate supply request form with your lesson plan if you need additional supplies that are not in the closet.
No. Free play is only allowed if there are less than 10 students in the gym. No exceptions.
Who should roll the trash cans around when it is time to throw away snack?
The teacher.
True or False: It is ok for staff to be sitting down while their group is on the play group if they only have 5 students or less.
False. It is never ok to be sitting down while outside with your group when they are playing out side. You should be walking around and constantly supervising.
False. Only staff working curbside or with a sports enrichment may wear shorts. Shorts must be at least fingertip length.
Who is responsible for checking the cabinets to make sure a needed supply is already there.
Staff. Not Ms. Taylor or Ms. Bri.
What game is never allowed to be played in ESP.
Dodge Ball or any game that requires the kids to throw the ball at each other. For example they cannot throw the ball to get each other out in Kickball.
True or False: Students are allowed to go sit with other grades with the teachers permission.
False. Students are only allowed to switch groups when given permission from the director or assistant director.
One of my students hit another in class. What I do?
Call down for an admin and immediately fill out a referral and an accident report. Separate the two students away from each other and the group. If Admin is unavailable to come down let them know over the walkie that you are sending a student down with an office referral and an accident report. Do not say over the walkie what the student did or their name. Give initials so we know who we are looking out for.
What days are staff allowed to wear joggers?
Wednesday's and Friday's. This can be taken away if you do not show up for your AM shift.
Give an example 3 morning centers for k-2 or 3-6, NOT including blocks, magnets, or color sheets.
Name 3 appropriate organized Gym games for k-2.
Four corners, duck duck goose, pac man, sharks and minnows, soccer, pool noodle hockey, etc.
Pretend all of us are your students and demonstrate how we go through the snack line.

True or False: Toys from home are allowed out if the ESP teacher gives the student to play with them.
False. Toys from home are not allowed in ESP. If a student has a toy it should be taken or put back in the students backpack.
Other than ESP shirts, what is another acceptable shirt you can wear.
Teacher attire or college logos.
What is the reason for lesson plans.
Lesson plans are required so you have a plan of what you are doing with your group everyday. If you are absent, the staff member filling in needs to have a plan to follow also. The more prepared you are for the day, the more you set yourself up for success.

Kick ball, basketball, tennis, silent ball, relay races, soccer, baseball, etc.
How many students should be up during snack time.
When are staff allowed to have their phones out.
There is no reason for a staff to have their phone out when they are supervising children. It should be either in their pocket or in the office. If you have an emergency and need to take a phone call, walkie admin so they can cover your group. You are never to take picture of the students with your personal phone. If you have an interesting project, let admin know and they will come take the picture for you.
