Media that is meant to negatively influence others and to reduce (lower) public resistance to certain policies. Nazies used it to negatively place the blame for Germany's economic and social problems on the Jewish people and to spread the idea that Germans were a superior race.

The Russian people felt that the Tzar was not a good leader, many people had died in the Japanese War and now they were fighting another war.  The people overthrew the monarch (tzar).  Things were still chaotic afterwards which helped Lenin to gain control of the government and introduce communism.
