This earned value technique calculates the percent complete of a work package based on the actual costs using the formula (Actual Cost/EAC) X BAC. This technique is utilized for engineering material (high volume/low value).

This may be implemented when the budget and/or schedule for performing the remaining work is decidedly insufficient and no longer represents a realistic plan for managing the program. Prior to implementation, written approval must be received from the Contracting Officer.

Schedule Risk Assessment
Measures the number of tasks completed as a ratio to those tasks that should have completed to date according to the original (baseline) plan. It reveals the “execution pace” for a program and provides an early warning of increased risk to on-time completion.

Total Allocated Budget (TAB)
LRE
Latest Revised Estimate
Measures how realistic the program completion date is, based on the remaining duration of the critical path and the amount of total float available. One of DCMA’s 14-Point Assessment Metrics and identifies programs that are having difficulty executing their critical path. The target is 1.0 or greater. A lower value indicates an increased risk of being late at program completion.
