Think about ways in your own life that you can stop a conflict from becoming violent. What could have happened differently at the Boston Massacre to avoid this tragedy?
Colonists should have protested in a more peaceful way. Perhaps a letter to the king. Perhaps talking one on one with Parliament. Shouting and throwing snowballs was bound to anger the soldiers. The soldiers should have also been a bit more conservative in their reaction. Shooting into the crowd ended up being deadly.
