What is the difference between subject pronouns and verbs?

Subject pronouns are words that replace the subject (who is doing the action).
Examples: I, you, he, she, we, they → yo, tú, él, ella, nosotros, ellos

Verbs are action words that tell what someone does or is.
Examples: run, eat, go, is → correr, comer, ir, es

In short:

  • Subject pronoun = who is doing it
  • Verb = what they are doing
