What does independent work mean?
Your work by yourself.

Your area is clean, your agenda is put away, and you are waiting quietly at your seat.
How do you know which group you are in form guided reading?
It will be on the board on the slides.
What should you do when coming in after recess and lunch?
Come onto your chromebook/look at the board for the assignment. Work quietly.
What is the volume expectation during group time?
Level 1 only.
During independent work, what should your voice level be?
Level 0.
Where should you be the entire time we are packing up?
At your seat?
What is the volume level (level 0-3) during guided reading?
Level 1 maximum.
How does Ms. Cerrillo know you are ready to be dismissed?
Your desk is cleared, no trash around you and you are making eye contact/thumbs up.
Who should participate during group work?
EVERYONE in your group.
What if you have a question?
Try to solve it on your own OR raise your hand quietly and Ms. Cerrillo will come to you.
When should I do my job if I have one?
After I finish writing in my agenda and put it away.
How do I know what is my priority during guided reading?
My group work/ anything with a star is due at the end of the week.
What should your line look like/sound like?
One person in front of the other and no talking, hands to self.
During guided reading, who are the people in your group?
The people at your level/ group on the board.
What should you do if you are finished?
Read a book quietly OR work on any unfinished work.
Where does your agenda/binder go when you finish writing your homework?
In your backpack to take home.
When is it ok to come up to Ms. Cerrillo during guided reading?
ONLY during an emergency.

About the assignment we are working on.

After Ms. Cerrillo has completely finished giving the directions.
If you are in band: What should you do before you leave AND as soon as you come back.
