What should you do if you need a pencil?
Ask for one or grab one from the front.
What is bellwork?
A question displayed on the board to be answered at the start of class.
Where do you turn in work?
Bins/Drawers at the front of the classroom
EXCEPT:
Actually, now its the bins on the window sill!
Where is the pencil sharpener?
At the front of the classroom on the bookshelf.
How should you enter the classroom?
Come in before the bell rings, sit in your assigned seat, and begin bellwork silently.
Name one of my pet peeves.
Shouting out answers, packing up early, not pushing your chair in, etc.
What should you NOT do with the desks?
Move them.
What can you use to help with bellwork?
Your assignments, notes, etc., but not Google.
What is the purpose of the Safe Seat?
To help students calm down when they cannot handle sitting with others.
Where can you find coloring supplies?
On the bookshelf in the front of the room.
What happens during independent work time?
You can work independently or collaborate with peers on the assignment.
Where can you NOT go in my classroom?
Behind my desk.
What supplies do you have access to?
All of them - pencils, coloring utensils, scissors, glue, rulers, etc.
What should you do if you finish early?
Missing Assignments, iReady, Extension Activities, Puzzles/Reading
