What is the bathroom pass procedure?

Use the bathroom during breaks. If you need to go in class, ask Ms. S at a time that seems appropriate. If she say's "not a good time", put your name on the waitlist. Then, ask again later and we'll figure it out!

What are breaks used for and when/how should you ask for one? How about the calming corner?

Breaks are used for when you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, unsafe, etc. How to ask - ask Ms. S. She will determine when is a good time, and ask the appropriate people, it might take a minute for them to respond OR they might not be available (be patient please). Ask when you think you need one, but no first 10/last 10.

The calming corner is open for a couple minutes to decompress. Try asking to use this first before a break outside of the classroom to see if it helps!
