How do you SHOW Ms. Morgan that we're ready for recess/lunch?
We are sitting in our seat with our voices off.
At an assembly what are the expectations?
Sit criss-cross, face forward, voices off
When we have a substitute, what happens if your name is left on a note for me? Both good and bad.
There will be some form of consequence, good or bad.
How can you show respect?
Using kind words, raising your hand to speak, being kind to others, greeting adults
What is a reward?
Something positive you can EARN through good choices.

Quickly and quietly
How do we act in the library?
We come in with our voices off and sit on a carpet square. We listen to Mrs. Long and when we can talk we have to use our whisper voices.
What does a nice line look like?
Eyes forward, hands by your side to yourself, bubble in your mouth.
If you are upset with someone else what should you do?
Tell that person how that makes you feel, ask them to stop, if they still do not then tell the teacher or another adult.
How can you earn Fun Friday?
Follow all of our school rules and classroom expectations all week long.
When should you be sharpening your pencil?
Never unless Ms. Morgan has specifically told you to. You know where you can find a new sharp pencil.
When we have a drill what do you do?
Immediately line up at the front door and have your voice off. OR if it is a lockdown drill, hide against the bookshelf wall.
What should you do if you don't know what we are doing or need help with something?
3 before me. This means you need to quietly ask 3 other students for help before coming to me to ask.
If we are working on our iPads and I see you on something else, another app, what will happen?
I will ask you to put away your iPad or I will take it, you can do your work on paper.
"Wow" Ms. Morgan! This could mean actively participating, showing kindness to others, being a good helper. etc.
When coming in from recess where should you go?
Straight to the carpet!
When at lunch what should you do after you eat?
Clean everything up after yourself and wait until you are dismissed to play!
When can you get a tissue and what do you do after?
Whenever you need to! I do not want your boogies going all over. After you use a tissue you must get hand sanitizer!
What might happen when I notice a student has been doing amazing in class and making great progress?
I might send home a brag note for your parents!
How does our Star Jar work?
We work together as a whole class to follow our classroom rules and expectations the first time to earn stars and then we earn a reward
Where does 1st grade and Kindergarten sit for our math tables? Do we move chairs?
Kinder- tables 1 and 2
1st Grade- tables 3,4, and 5
We do not move chairs!
We STAY IN LINE on the yellow line with our voices off.
When you are finished early on anything we are working on what can you do?
Read a book in the library, take an AR quiz at your seat, do iReady or Seesaw at your desk, do an early finisher folder at your desk
How should we treat others?
The same way you want to be treated! You need to think about your actions and words before we do them.
How can you earn the prize box?
Filling up your punch card!
