Get breakfast, give lunch order, and go to class.

We need to get ready for something new, clean-up, sit down in your seat, and wait for directions
What should I do if I want to ask for help with an Independent Practice assignment?
Be sure to TRY first! Read the directions to understand what is being asked of you and then attempt to answer first before you ask for help.

We wait to be called on before standing up and then we are quiet in line as we stay in our spot.
What do we do after we finish eating lunch?
Clean-up: throw away trash, wipe off desks/table, and sit quietly waiting for instructions.
Grab binder/journal and a pencil then sit quietly in your seat and begin working on the Focus Activity
What does staying on-topic during a lesson mean?
Only talk about the main idea of the discussion and answer the questions directly. Wait your turn.
Apples have nothing to do with the Empire State Building.
Should I complain that "it's too hard" before I put in some effort?
We always flush and be sure we're not leaving a mess and then WASH our hands!
How do we leave our classroom?
Put away supplies, push in chairs, straighten up desks, and clean floor if needed

How may I participate during a lesson?
Be respectful and raise your hand, wait to be called on, stay on-topic without interrupting much. No refusing when called on.
How do we earn our mystery reward?
Everyone completes all assignments without refusals and follows directions/routines and participates with effort.
What's important to do when going outside to the playground?
To stop before the road and look both ways before crossing.
If I'm playing outside at the end of the day, what should I do when my ride gets here?
Take all of the items I brought outside back to where they belong inside.
What should stay in my desk?
A book to read if I finish early.

What may I do during a brain break?
Listen for instructions, but read a book, color, play sitting down with toys, use Viewboard with permission only.
When we walk in the halls to switch classes, what should happen?
We stay quiet and in line without touching anyone.
When school is over, how do we leave?
Everyone leaves on their ride without refusals or attitude.
