Speak about this image:

Answers will vary:

This painting is amazing. One reason it is amazing is because of its contrast. The painting's boarder is a dark-blue black color that slowly transitions to a light blue as the colors approach the moon, which is great because it portrays the balance of hope and despair. Secondly, this work rocks because of the spooky imagery. There are ghosts, crows, and dead-looking trees. All of which are key aspects of a horror movie. Because of these, you can really experience the eeriness of the piece. Lastly, this piece is fantastic because there is so much to see despite the emptiness of the canvas. This art is literally just a river disappearing into the horizon. However, the more you look, you can find images like the grim reaper and his scythe, a boat traveling down the river, and ghosts hiding through out the work. It feels as if you will never find everything. Therefore, this painting is so terrific.
