Morning Meeting
It is Morning Meeting time and you are upset about something and can not focus on what the teacher is saying. What options do Falcon’s have to calm down or to better focus?
A) Ask permission to go to the calm corner. B) Find a calming fidget tool to bring to the morning circle. C) Ask to check in with a Teacher.
How many language and math tasks must Falcons complete a day?
Two Language & Two Math
The timer for the work session has just gone off and it is time for snack. What steps should a Falcon take to properly get ready for snack?
A) Finish your last problem/sentence and begin to clean up. Put away all the materials you were using during that work session. Line up in front of the bathroom to wash your hands.
During lunch are you allowed to trade food with your classmates and are there trade backs?
YES trading is allowed and no there are no trade backs allowed!
Your teacher has just left you and your classmates with the Enrichment teacher. What are the expectations while you are with your enrichment teacher? How are you supposed to act and behave?
A) The expectation is that you participate by trying your best. B) We must be on our BEST Behavior and treat our enrichment teachers with kindness and respect.
What can Falcons expect to do or learn during the morning meeting

What can you do if you finish both your language and math tasks?
A) Work on a 3rd Language & Math task B) Read you book report book. C) Finish any work from the previous day.
Where are Falcons able to eat their snacks?
A) Outside on the patio. B) Inside on either the big rug or small rug. C) At a desk.
Everyone is eating lunch but you do not feel like eating yet, what are your options if you want to eat later?
You are allowed to eat your lunch on the playground during play time.
You come back from recess and are really upset about something that happened during recess. Its Enrichment and your regular teachers are not there. What are some ways you can calm down by yourself so that you can make it back to class to participate?
A) Let the enrichment teacher know that you are feeling some type of way and that you need some time in the chill corner or peace corner to calm down. B) Find fidget tools or breathing tools to help calm you down and or focus you on the lesson.
What are some rules/norms that Falcons must know about Circle time?
A) Everyone must participate (Unless you ask for permission) B) Only one person can talk at a time. C) Seating is open, which means you can sit anywhere.

It recess time and you and another student are geting in an argument. What are some ways you can handle the conflict between you?
A) Ask for support from an Adult, B) Try to communicate how you are feeling in a calm tone and voice. C) Walk away from the situation

The morning meeting has started and everyone is choosing their seat. Someone is sitting in the spot you want, what should you do?

You are writing and can’t/forgot how to spell a word. As a Falcon what should you do?
A) Check the word wall, B) Ask at least 3 friends to try to spell it for you. C) Bring a teacher a note card and sharpie
After snack time is over what are the proper steps to transition to recess?

After a teacher has spelled a word for you by writing it on a notecard with a sharpie, what should you do next?
A) Put the card on the word wall in alphabetical order using a clothes pin.
The class is lined up ready to go to recess but Mr. Glen is not allowing the class to leave the room yet. Instead he is looking intently disappointed at trash left behind by members of the class but not by you. What should you do?
A) Leave the line and pick up the trash so that the class can leave to recess.
