Who is responsible for cleaning trip equipment?
Trip Leaders! Clean-up includes, but is not limited to:
Soaking and spraying all paddling equipment
Setting up and cleaning out tents
Dropping off laundry
Thoroughly cleaning pots
Thoroughly clean up 2 Burner stoves and then put them away in the cage
Cleaning equipment and set out to dry (paddle equipment, headlamp straps, pots, etc.)
Putting away whitewater rafts and ropes (if rained on) once they’ve dried
What information about each participant and trip leader is required in the EAP?

What additional form do participants need to sign to travel on our trips?
All trip leaders and participants on trips are required to complete the MOU prior to leaving on a trip. To complete the MOU, follow these steps:
1. Go to return.umd.edu.
2. Click the "Travel Memorandum" link under the "Students" tab.
3. Sign the Travel Memorandum. You should get an email confirming your signature.
4. A green screen will now appear. This confirms that the form was successfully signed.
From now on, please have participants sign the memorandum and show you their green screen during the pre-trip meeting.

By going to go.umd.edu/TLDrivingLog. This helps us track who was driving if a vehicle's GPS is triggered from speeding.
