300

What is the definition of a prediction?

Predictions are logical outcomes of
hypotheses that describe what we expect to see under a given set of circumstances if
the hypothesis is supported

300

What is the difference between interspecies genetic differences and intraspecies genetic differences?

Intraspecifc differences refer to differences among organisms of a single species

Interspecifc differnces refer to differences between species

What is a constant?

All variables in a study that are not manipulated and are held constant across the experimental study.

500

How is alignment length determined by the program

They use ddNTPs and essentially run PCR agai with our DNA samples. The ddNTPs stop the replication at various lengths. These fragments are then aligned from long to short. The ddNTPs at the end of each fragment are then read using a special sensor and an elctropherogram is created.

500

Habitat fragmentation increases or decreases edge habitat?

increases
