What is a 3rd party reservation & What is a single use credit card? Are we allowed to modify dates or extend these reservations?

Single use credit card is a virtual card that has been loaded already with the exact amount for room and tax for the reservation meaning it is PREPAID. It is VERY VERY VERY important we do NOT swipe these cards out.

How do we set up an expedia resv? How do we collect a deposit for agoda or any resv that needs a deposit collected?

Expedia: 

Window 1: Cash--> Auth Rule "5" (#OfNights For Incidentals) EX: 5 (50.00 , 100.00, 150.00) 

Window 2: MC--> Card # -> Auth Rule "1' 

Collecting Deposits: 

Open Resv- Options-Deposit/CXL- Click New-Deposit Rule-Select ADV(Due the day of booking)-Click Ok-Go back to payment-Enter amount-Collet deposit.

If someone gives you a tax exempt form at CHECK-IN how do you make the reservation tax exempt? & if someone gave you the form at CHECK-OUT how do we remove the taxes on the billing screen?
