Last Year's Resident Satisfaction Survey Result was overall 76% which is above the LTC division at Extendicare average? Yes or No
YES it is ! The scores that were down from previous year were- Laundry, Cleaning and input into Recreation activities- also seeing more of the Doctor and input into careplanning.
All other scores were up! Trust in Care Staff- trust in leadership- appearance of building and Dining!

Recreation Aids are the only team members that are allowed to porter residents back and forth from programs...especially in the evenings. Yes or No

Shift change requests should only go to Sue's email 24/7. Yes or No
No-- shift change requests need to be ideally be 2 weeks before the schedule is posted. All other requests (short term 24-48) need to go to the Charge Nurse with nursing Leadership aware.
How do you address a family complaint if you are front line?
- listen carefully without interruption
- tell them you are sorry for what they are experiencing (not any more detail until we know the facts)
-tell them you will report it and seek resolution
-fill out a CSR (client services response form) and hand in to DOC or ED for follow up
